Emily is originally from the Midwest, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota. Shortly after graduating she completed the Certified Clinical Nutritionist program. She moved to California to attend Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and holds a four year Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Emily married her husband Derek in San Diego and she has one son, and twin girls. Emily resides with her family in San Clemente.
As an Acupuncturist and a Clinical Nutritionist, Emily believes that each person must set realistic, measurable, and challenging goals in order to define their individual success. Additionally, she feels the more interest you take in participating in your own health care, the more successful that care is likely to be. She also understands that everyone has a unique situation, with their own ideals of success, so each consultation is given that consideration.
Her specialties include women’s health, fertility, digestive disorders, stress management, weight loss, vitamin and herbal recommendations, special diet restrictions including food sensitivities, autoimmune diseases, and customized nutrition for athletic and fitness training. Through her professional clinical experience, Emily has gained knowledge in many areas of health.
